Support Schizophrenia Research
In order to accomplish our mission, we cannot rely on membership dues and conference revenue alone to cover the operating costs of SIRS. Gifts of money, expertise, and time are needed to fuel the continued growth, development and advancement of SIRS. In order to further our mission of bringing together researchers in schizophrenia and related disorders, philanthropic gifts are needed to positively impact the field through research and clinical application. SIRS is recognized as exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. SIRS registered charity EIN number is 20-3585630.
In Honor of a Loved One
The Society will notify the family if a donation has been made in honor or memory of a loved one. Please include the family name and address for correspondence.
SIRS Research Funding Award
SIRS is soliciting donations for a Research Funding Award to be given to a SIRS member that will directly go toward the costs of funding and starting-up of a research project that aims to test a novel hypothesis about schizophrenia, its causes or treatments. For example, one might donate to this Research Award fund in honor of a colleague who has passed away or as part of one’s annual charitable donations. Please note on your check or electronic submission the donation is for the SIRS Research Award.
